DAY #6 : 25 FACTS ABOUT ME

Hello there, my fellow homo sapiens. I can't believe it's already the sixth day of Bibliathon (well if we're gonna get technical, it isn't for me, because these are pre-written, but shh! I won't tell if you don't.) Past Ezgi does wonder though, how many days have I missed? I guess you'll be the judge of that.
Onto the challenge number six then! Today I will be sharing 25 facts about myself. I am curious to see how many facts I can think of without sitting on my chair, staring at the screen in despair. I am also really excited that you guys are going to get to know me a little better this way! So, let's get started already. Oh wait, first let me announce the host of today's challenge: Mary from wolflibby0914.wordpress.com. Don't forget to check her blog out! Now, we can start.

FACT #1: Let's start with something bookish because I honestly don't know where else to start... My favourite book of all time is Lord of the Rings as if my blog name doesn't give it away.

FACT #2: I have seen the LOTR movies over 100 times, no jokes.

FACT #3: Both of my names have meanings in Turkish; Ezgi means melody, tune and Damla means drop. As in a teardrop or a raindrop.

FACT #4: I am terrified of the character Gollum as I was traumatised as a 7-year-old munchkin back in the day. I literally had had nightmares for years. To be honest, he still creeps me out.

FACT #5: After my Twilight phase, I pretended to hate the series 'cause it was cool. I have hard time understanding early-teens-Ezgi, not gonna lie...

Me looking at younger me.

FACT #6: I am proud to identify myself as a feminist.

FACT #7: I can't eat or drink something while I'm reading because the chewing sounds distract me and I just end up forgetting the cup of tea/coffee that is right next to me which leads to me spilling it somewhere or to it getting cold.

FACT #8: My favourite TV shows include Game of Thrones, Bones, Fringe, Avatar: The Last Airbender & Legend of Korra, Merlin, Sherlock, Supernatural and the one that most recently won my heart; Riverdale.

FACT #9: Most people don't like wearing glasses and prefer contact lenses but I love mine. I feel like a part of me is missing when don't wear them -which isn't often because making sure I can see is the first thing I do when I wake up.

FACT #10: New Zealand is my favourite place in the whole world and yes, Lord of the Rings does have a huge impact on this. Second place belongs to Scotland.

FACT #11: Come summer, it is extremely difficult to convince me to get out of the water whether it is the sea or a pool we're talking about. I can never get enough of it.

FACT #12: I speak three languages as of now: Turkish -mother tongue, English (duh) -fluent, French -could use some practice. And Italian will be added to my list next year!

FACT #13: I want to become a forensic anthropologist, looking at you Bones... I thought it was just a phase but it's been years and I still haven't changed my mind. We'll see how that goes.

FACT #14: I can't talk to strangers for the life of me. I avoid any kind of social interaction at all costs. Also, I am the most awkward human being when I need to talk to a relative on the phone. Well, I guess that's the family curse because my cousins suck at it too. Sorry, cousins.

I am basically Castiel in human form.

FACT #15: My biggest pet peeve is when people make noises while eating or chewing gum or basically making annoying sounds with their mouth. I cannot stand it. Not. One. Bit.
Whenever I'm next to someone that chews loudly I'm like;

FACT #16: I haven't seen the majority of the big classic movies that everyone else seems to have and my friends don't even bother to ask me if I have seen *insert random movie* anymore. They are so done with me. To give some examples; Indiana Jones, Mission Impossible, Godfather, Star Wars, Star Trek...

The list goes on but I don't have the heart to type more because of the overwhelming shame. I will take care of this situation in the near future, hopefully.

FACT #17: I play basketball and I'm on the school team. Also, completely unintentional but my number is 17 and we're on the 17th fact. Interesting.

FACT #18: I have lived in five cities throughout my life and been abroad three times. (twice France, once a Greek island.)

FACT #19: My favourite subject at school is History. I find it fascinating to learn about the folk that lived hundreds and thousands of years ago.

FACT #20: In 1 ¹/² years I will be eighteen but I am still a massive child who hardcore loves Disney and Pixar and animation in general. In fact, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron and How To Train Your Dragon are two of my all time favourite movies.

FACT #21: I love listening to soundtracks while doing homework or writing. Some of my favourite composers are Howard Shore, Ramin Djawadi and Hans Zimmer. Also, speaking of music, I will listen to whatever sounds good to me. I don't have a single go-to genre.

FACT #22: Emma Watson and Carrie Hope Fletcher are two of the brilliant women I look up to.

FACT #23: In seventh grade, I went through a hardcore Metal phase and also it was the year when me and my friends at the time convinced ourselves to be witches. We would pretend to cast spells and it got so serious that the school counsellor talked to us about it. We were no longer allowed to watch The Secret Circle. I mean, the students would move away when we were walking. Man, we were cool once, haha.

FACT #24: Since I learned to write, I've been trying to write a novel. Multiple novels, actually. I have started at least five stories that did not get to live more than 30 pages. But someday, I aspire to become a bestselling author!

FACT #25: Finally, I am currently struggling to find an interesting last fact and epically failing at it. Let's see... I am one of the most indecisive individuals that you can ever encounter.  Seriously though, it takes me forever to decide between pizza and burgers and people expect me to make healthy life choices... *sigh*

See, it's an important fact about me 'cause I've just put two gifs just because I couldn't decide on one.

That's two more, just reacting to my previous sentence. I'm not good at this.

Okay, I think enough is enough. I really hope you enjoyed Day #6. I for sure had so much fun putting it together and finding the gifs even though it was in deed challenging to decide on what gifs to use. Leave a comment down below telling me one random fact about yourself as I would love to know. Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you guys tomorrow with the final challenge. (Hopefully, said past-self.)
