So, what is this "Day #1" about? Well it is what got me so excited to get writing immidiately.
Drum rolls please
I am attempting Biannual Bibliathon Blogger Challenge for Summer 2017 ! Yes, you read correctly, I will be trying to write a post hopefully for every challenge for the entire Bibliathon week -hopefully being the key word. Before I explain the challenge of the day one, I should probably talk about the Bibliathon itself.
So the Biannual Bibliathon is a read-a-thon that takes place twice a year and is hosted by a bunch of amazing BookTubers. For an entire week, we try to read as much as we can while also trying to complete a bunch of reading challenges. There are video challenges for fellow BookTubers, blogger challenges as you can tell and reading challenges to complete. This is my first time participating so there's no need to say that I am super excited!
The first day of Blogger Challenges is hosted by Nana over at 4teenliars.wordpress.com/ and basically I'm going to be answering ten questions for this tag. So without further ado, let's get to the questions!
1. What are you planning to read for Summer Biannual Bibliathon?
As you guys may be aware that Bibliathon is happening on the same week as Booktube-A-Thon which is another week long read-a-thon that is hosted by the lovely Ariel Bissett on YouTube. At first, I thought I'd had to pick one and go with it but then I saw people combining challenges from both read-a-thons and I said, I should do one of those! And that's what I'll be doing.
I will definitely try to do my best at reading because I am going on a vacation with my friends and we'll be staying at their summerhouse for the majority of the week so there's a %99 chance that I won't have enough time to read everything that I plan to read. But hey, it is about reading and having fun, right? As long as I do both of those things, I am good to go. And as for the question, you will find my post where I share my TBR pile if you scroll through my blog just a little bit more. Enjoy!
2. What is your favourite genre to read in summer?
I usually go for light and adorable contemporaries, but I also get some fantasy done during summer as well because I have a lot more time to dedicate myself to a fantasy series than I do during school months.
3. Where is your favourite place to read in summer?
One of the many amazing things about summer is that I get to read while relaxing under the sun and on the sunbed. It is a challenge to place the book well enough that it won't cover my stomach though. I need to get tanned equally, okay?

Also, reading in the hammock is one of the pleasures of life.
4. What is your favourite challenge done in the Summer Biannual Bibliathon?
My favourite challenge done in the BiBib is probably the Throwback Challenge because that way, you can choose any challenge you want. I really like the concept of it and think it's so much fun!
5. What fictional character would you hang out in the summer if you could?
I would definitely choose Fred and George because they would be so much fun to hang out with. I mean, just think about how much fun you can have with the Weasley twins! Merry and Pippin would make awesome companions too. I guess you could say that I have a thing for fun duos in general.
You are very welcome for the awesome gifs -one of which makes me want to rewatch LOTR for literally one hundred and someting-th time...
6. What are your plans for summer?
Well, right after my vacation with my best friends I'll be on another vacation with my family. The one with my family is supposed to be calm and detoxing so I'm planning on reading, reading and reading. And swimming, of course. After that, I have no specific plans for the rest of the summer. I'll just work on my YouTube channel, my blog and reading while getting as much sleep as I can before the school starts.
7. Do you have a summer reading playlist, if not what would be on it?
I personally can't read with music on, it distracts me and I eventually start singing or humming along. So I've never bothered to make a playlist and no matter the genre of the music; classical, rock, soundtrack etc. I always sing along thus there is no song I can think of to put on my potential playlist. Instead, I'll cheat a little bit and list some songs that I'm listening on repeat for the past month or so. Disclaimer; these songs are not in any particular order nor do they fit into one genre only. This list is a literal mess but we're just going to roll with it.
- Imagine Dragons - Believer (Riverdale? Anyone? No? K...)
- Ed Sheeran - Hands of Gold (Anyone's seen Game of Thrones S7 yet ?)
- BTS - Not Today
- Rascal Flatts - Life is a Highway
- Miley Cyrus - Malibu
- Charlie Puth - Attention
- Hailee Steinfeld - Most Girls
- Harry Styles - Sign of the Times
- Carrie Hope Fletcher - Keep Up With My Love
- Little Mix - Power
8. What is your favourite summer movie?
Currently, it's Baywatch. I went to see it with my friends and oh my... It was hilarious. Not to mention the brilliant cast! It has the perfect summer vibes and I absolutely loved every second of it.
9. What book do you read every summer, if not what thing do you do every summer?
There's not a book that I annually read although I'm planning on doing it for the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. As to what I do every summer, the answer would be go on vacation with my family. We always go on a family holiday at least for a week.
10. And last but certainly not least, what other book tags are you planning to do this summer?
I have yet to upload my first video on YouTube but once I get the hang of it I really want to film an Unpopular Opinions Book Tag as well as a Popular Books I Haven't Read and a BookTube Newbie Tag. These are on the top of my video ideas list. (I always love watching other people's unpopular opinions tags as I find them to be quiet interesting. As of now, there are a ton of really popular books I haven't read so this is the perfect time to film such a video as people will be pretty surprised by them -at least that's what I think. And the newbie tag is pretty self-explanatory.)
Aaaand that is it you guys, I hope you enjoyed reading through my answers as much as I enjoyed writing them. If I am being consistent with pre-writing these, you should be getting a new post for almost every day this week. Again I am thrilled to be participating in this challenge, if you have a blog or a YouTube channel, I would highly recommend giving Biannual Bibliathon a try. You can do solely the reading challenges if that's what you wish, it is totally up to you. Like I've said earlier, the goal is to read and have fun during this week, so don't hesitate to join!
You can find the details on the Biannual Bibliathon YouTube channel or on their instagram account.
Thanks for stopping by and I will see you soon with a new one, peace out!
